Drift Creek Falls and a Hasselblad (YouTube Video)

I made a quick video after hiking Drift Creek Falls near the Pacific Ocean. I admit my YouTube video production values are pretty low but hey, I’m more of a still photographer than I am a video maker. Photographs from the day are at the end of the video. The camera I had with me was a Hasselblad 500c/m mounted with a 50mm f/4 Distagon. I exposed two rolls of film, a roll of Ilford Pan F and a roll of Rollei RPX 100.

Toketee Falls, a Hasselblad, and Ilford PanF Film

Just a quick share of a photo diary YouTube video I made after hiking Toketee Falls just outside of Roseburg Oregon. It was a short hike, and a VERY long drive to get to this location so I didn’t have much time in the way of exposing film.

Still, I managed to finish off twelve frames of Ilford PanF with my new 50mm Hasselblad F/4 Distagon which I was very anxious to try out and take for a spin!

Photographing Beacon Rock in Washington State

Just a quick and hastily produced video diary that I made after hiking Beacon Rock in Washington State. This is a really popular trail in the area that I enjoy but rarely experience because it is typically far too crowded. However, on the rare opportunities I have to go on a weekday early in the morning it can be quite satisfying.

Pardon the terrible music at the end. I figured it was better than just straight silence but royalty free music tends to be rather annoying. :-P

Top 3 Ways to Inspire Your Creativity

Are you feeling uninspired to make your own art? Feel like you are in a rut with your creativity? Well, I can't promise that I will help you with that but I do have a few words of wisdom to share from my own experience.

This video is totally unscripted and is just sharing some of my general thoughts about how to find your voice in whatever chosen artistic medium you may undertake. For me that's photography, but for you it may be something else. Regardless, I think what I have to say applies.
